swinput report

I wrote a small linux (kernel) module called swinput a long time ago. Haven’t used myself in for a while. The only time I use it is when addin/altering the synchronising algorithm in Xnee. swinput is used to test Xnee.
Anyhow, just got a bug report. Swinput compiles and install fine. But it doesn’t seem to show up in the right spot in the proc tree. Did I change anything? Have the APIs changed?
Will install ubuntu in some kind of virtual environment to see what’s wrong.
